Juliana on the move
In the last week Juliana has began crawling. Before she would just military crawl in circles or kind of drag herself over, or whine to get mom or dad or sister to get her something. Now she's actually crawling although not always consistently. She's also just generally more interested in moving around. She's almost 9 months old so we wondered if she was just going to go straight to walking and skip the crawling but I guess not. I'll post some video soon of her crawling.
As for the rest of us, we are doing good. Gabre was at a camp all this last week and had a blast. She got to ride jet boats and go swimming and do crafts. Jen and I have been working on the farmhouse a lot more lately, updating and repairing.
Juliana ToothWe found Juliana has a tooth sticking through on May 1st, Saturday. It's up front and on the bottom, and not pointing straight up. The tooth is sticking out the front of the gum a little bit, so it was actually hard to find. We just thought she was teething due to the pain, chewing, etc... |
Juliana rolled all the way overA very exciting day. Juliana nearly being 6 months old, since today is the 9th of April (she was born Oct 18th, 2009,) rolled from tummy to back. Jen called me at work so I could enjoy hearing the moment (Juliana was quite grumpy and noisy so you could hear her.) A cool milestone. I don't know if she will plan on rolling or crawling as she really likes to stand, maybe she'll just skip to walking. Also last week on Tuesday March 30th she began to sit for a couple minutes without support. She has to hold a toy in front of her so she can concentrate on that.
