New house in Cornelius
We are buying a new house in Cornelius. Hopefully we will close by Sept 10th. More pictures (sorry some are dark) are available in the pictures section.
With the economy the way it is, and lenders tightening their rules we determined we wouldn't be able to get a construction loan once we started building our house on our Gaston farm. (Hence we would be stuck with a half built home without the ability to finish enough to move in.) So we decided to move and buy another house. We are renting out the farm in the mean time and hope in 5-10 years we will be able to move back and start building there. Here's a pic and I hope you'll all come see us at our new place.
