The Geiszlers

Well here's another bi-monthly update. Christmas went well. Jen (my wife) made her famous crab dish and I had made prime rib from the 1/4 steer we purchased last summer. We had both of our immediate families over. I didn't have the crab but the prime rib was delicious.  We had multiple household problems as my water heater broke twice while Alex and Jenn were staying at our place from out of state. Additionally the hot tub broke as the filter cap blew off since the ring holding it was cracked.  Anyways everything is repaired and we are up and functioning.

Gabre had a wonderful 1st Christmas. She had a pile of presents three times bigger than anyone elses. She doesn't understand Christmas yet but she is enjoying the new toys.  Gabre is also learning to walk. She did her first couple steps a couple weeks ago and now can walk a couple steps without falling. She's really determined. It will be funny watching a just over 2ft tall person walking around.

Also we had a great time on new years eve. Unfortunately from the water heater problems, etc... we were very tired so we didn't go to the party we were suppose to. We stayed at home and had a few people over. We also borrowed Julie's InFocus type machine and broadcast Mario Cart on the entire wall. We played close to midnight, set off some fireworks, Jen drank quite a bit, and we played some cards. It was great hanging out with everyone, we had a good time. Well that's the update. Upcoming event is Gabre's 1st B-day. We plan to send out invites soon. Should be fun.
