Spring updates 2007
Many updates over the last couple months. I did a little work on the side painting and traded for a Correll Cider Press. I painted Bob Correll's Double-Wide manufactured home in exchange for a Jumbo Heirloom. Bob and his wife were very nice, and even made sure I continued to be fed throughout the job.
Our friends Eric and Jenny Dwyer are going to have their first baby. Congratulations to them!
My wife has extended family coming down so we plan to have some fun hanging out with them, this weekend.
Additionally we had a fun Easter, Gabre did an Easter egg hunt at the Church, pics avaialbe in theĀ pictures section and Gabre is quite perceptive as she found the eggs hidden on the seats that were pushed in. Also we had a delicious dinner with both my parents and Jen's parents.
Mothers day was done over two different evenings, one was with my wife's family, which was good and at The Melting Pot. A little expensive but great multi-course meals and worth it when we can afford to go. Deanna (my sis-in-law) blew chunks at the table and passed her sickness on to me (Thanks Deanna) which I believe she got from her Dad who was sick about 16 hours before. My wife got a digital photo frame from Gabre and I, which she seems to like. I preloaded it with some nice photo's, all of which are in the Pictures section as well. The second event was with my mom, we also went out, this time for lunch. I hadn't been to Claim Jumper Restaurants before, as I believe it's new in the Portland area. Good food at a reasonable price, in my opinion.
