Sabbatical Yard Pool update

As part of my sabbatcial we are cleaning up an overgrown area of the yard. It was a flower garden at one time with plastic garbage, 4 buried tractor tires, and overgrown flowers.

The first picture is of the top of the septic. The second is of it after we put a metal cover on it. It's about 2ft x2ft but only has the little bit of metal showing that is the access hole. I still need to rake it even and plant some grass. The septic likely dates from the 1960's and has a dirt floor and poured concrete sides and top. We had it pumped but discovered a cherry tree has roots growing into the distribution box and backing up the septic so that the toilets don't flush well. The reason for the picture is the septic need to be recovered with access hole and is near the overgrown area of the yard where the pool needs to end up.

The next picture is of the overgrown area with the old rotted posts, overgrown tulips, and buried tires. This area has been cleared and a swimming pool put in it's place on sand. See pic 2, before the pool was completely filled.

Here are pictures of the Tires my dad and I removed with the tractor. They are 4 feet in diamater as you can kind of tell on the truck. I was lucky to find a tire company that would dispose of them for only $10 each.

The last pictures are on the side of the house. We removed the tree sticking out to the left and some branches cut up so you can drive through with a riding mower, etc...
